Laundry Operative
£12.75 - £13.25 p/h
About the Business:
Our Client is one of the UK's largest hotel laundry and linen providers, who regularly collects, launders and delivers millions of items of linen each and every week for a wide range of nationwide hotel chains, family run hotels and leisure & gym facilities.
About The Role:
To assist the team to meet the company goals in a timely and appropriate manner and ensure operational needs are met whenever possible. To support production operations through utilising varied skill-set and support other members of the team in achieving their objectives.
Start Date: Immediately
Shifts: 06:00 – 14:00; 14:00 – 22:00; 22.00 – 06:00.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Sorting - unloading cages of dirty laundry, sheets, duvets
• Placing items into the correct containers to allow items to be cleaned
• Ironing - placing washed garments onto the ironing machine
• Packing - items to be packed ready for dispatch
About you:
• Ability to multi skill in different areas of the business.
• High degree of flexibility
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow instructions
• Must have eye for the detail
• Ability to complete repetitive tasks and in line with performance targets
