Senior Team Leader

Earn a competitive salary of £31,000 per year. 

Red Rock Partnership Limited is delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a Senior Team Leader to join their busy team. 

About the Business:

Our client is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from 2 production facilities.

About The Role:

This role includes ensuring safe and efficient running of the area, communicating with colleagues and other departments and ensuring the supply of raw materials to the packing lines.

Start Date: Immediately

Shifts:

• 4 on 4 off, 6:00am – 18:00pm, 

Pay: £31,000.32 p/year

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Following the production schedule and liaising with the Planning and Production departments to ensure the plan is met.
• Always ensuring effective communication.
• Ensuring the scanning process is followed with all boxes scanned correctly.
• Complying with all Organic requirements and procedures.
• Supporting FLT drivers with filling lines when necessary.
• Escalating any issues to the Engineering department when necessary.
• Reporting any quality concerns to the QA Team.
• Managing and ensuring the cleaning schedules are followed.
• Regularly checking the waste product and label as per procedure.
• Ensuring the safe operation of machinery.

About You:

• Experience leading a team within a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to make decisions and prioritise.
• Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
• Valid Forklift licence of ITSSAR, AITT or RTITB standard is required.
